Programs Planner

Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood has a collaborative maintenance contract with Ampol to deliver leading maintenance and project services to their Lytton Refinery.

We are currently seeking a Programs Planner & Scheduler with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry to join the Wood team at the Ampol Refinery based in Lytton, Brisbane. This is a permanent role.

**Work-scope**:

- ** **Review SAP CMMS daily for approved SAP Notifications and create work orders.
- Conduct site inspections to determine the scope of work.
- Populate the work order with the tasks, discipline hours, materials, specialist vendors, PMCs and other services required to execute the work.
- Provide workpack documentation for execution of work.
- Liaise with the Area Specialists to determine the optimum time to execute the work.
- Attend and chair the Weekly Planning meetings.
- Schedule all new work orders to be executed prior to their due date in line with priority and resource availability.
- Monitor day-to-day progress of the Programs maintenance schedule, highlighting concerns to management.
- Maintain integrity of the CMMS, Maintenance Management System.
- Liaise with Integrated Planner on matters relating to 90 Day/28 Day /Shutdown /Ad-hoc plans.
- Demonstrate a pro-active role in identifying safety improvements.
- Provide pro-active, constructive and innovate input which will enhance present practices.
- Actively pursue personal development utilising the My Success Plan process.

Skills / Qualifications:

- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or applicable trade qualification.
- Relevant qualifications in planning and/or estimating.
- Extensive experience in cost estimating and planning.
- SAP PM & P6 experience highly regarded.
- Experience in oil refineries / petrochemical / major hazard facilities.
- Capable user of planning and scheduling and estimating tools. Sound knowledge of construction methods used in oil refineries and similar industries.
