The role
Working out of our Brisbane office, located at Murarrie, you'll join the HR Shared Services team, which provides transactional and system HR support across the business. The HR Shared Services function is an integral part of the HR function which seeks to continually improve the effectiveness of our service delivery. As the HR Officer, your role will interact with employees, leaders and other members of the HR team to provide a high level of process support associated with the employee lifecycle from initial hire to offboarding.
Day to day your role may look like:
· Key administrative support across the entire employee lifecycle, including drafting employment contracts, onboarding, processing employment changes and drafting variation letters and offboarding
· Maintaining employment data in HR systems (SAP & SuccessFactors)
· Act as the first point of contact for HR queries from employees
· Provide HR support and generalist advice on company policies to the business
· Work with the HR Shared Service Advisors to support Client Groups on all HR matters
· HR transactional / administrative support to the Performance & Reward function contributing to the management of the annual performance cycle and salary review process
About you:
· Qualification in HR (preferred but not essential) and experience in an administration or advisory role
· Passion and interest in a career within Human Resources, with a focus on continuous improvement
· Demonstrated ability to take initiative, identify issues and create solutions
· Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
· Experience working in a fast-paced environment where efficiency is key
· Strong ability to develop positive working relationships
· Resilience and a positive attitude
