About the Role:

We are looking for a highly organised, motivated and self-directed Marketing Assistant to support our team across a broad range of marketing, administrative, and digital functions. This role is hands-on and diverse—ideal for someone who enjoys balancing creative tasks with structured operational work. You will assist in executing marketing campaigns, managing content, supporting events, analysing data, and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day marketing activities.

Responsibilities

• Administrative Support: Maintain marketing calendars, manage databases, coordinate meetings, assist with project documentation, and perform data entry.
• Graphic Design & Content Creation: Create visual content for social media, email campaigns, websites, and print using Canva and Adobe tools.
• Web Updates: Assist with website content updates, landing pages, basic web development tasks, and ensuring SEO best practices.
• Social Media Management: Schedule and publish posts, monitor engagement, and support growth across digital platforms.
• Photography & Videography: Capture, edit, and produce visual content for marketing campaigns and events.
• Data & Analytics: Compile marketing reports, analyse KPIs, and support optimisation of digital campaigns.
• Lead Generation: Support lead capture efforts through digital channels, forms, events, and campaign tracking.
• Event Support: Assist with planning, logistics, coordination, and on-the-ground support for events and workshops.
• Digital Advertising & SEO: Contribute to SEO optimisation, keyword research, Google Ads setup, and campaign monitoring.
• Market Research: Conduct industry, competitor, and audience research to support marketing strategy.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Strong administrative and organisational skills, with high attention to detail.
• Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Basic web development or website editing experience.
• Strong data analytics skills and confidence working with spreadsheets and dashboards.
• Some exposure to coding is desired.
• Experience managing social media platforms and creating engaging digital content.
• Photography and videography skills, including basic editing capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with digital platforms and CRMs.
• Understanding of SEO, Google Ads, and performance tracking.
• Experience with data entry, documentation, and process coordination.
• Ability to conduct thorough market research and summarise insights clearly.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate across teams.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $33.00 – $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 16 per week
