About the role

Operating out of our High Wycombe warehouse, we are looking for a Truck Driver with an MR or HR license to join our Team to transport goods within the Perth metro area plus some coverage of the southwest region - Busselton & surrounds.

Our core transport business is multi drop / hand unload deliveries which involves heavy lifting and delivering with the use of a trolley, basic POD paperwork and some cash collection.

This position includes some warehouse & order picking work.

What is required to be a suitable candidate

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in multi drop deliveries
  • Qualification's post-secondary school is desirable
  • Must have knowledge of Perth metro area/suburbs and be able to route daily delivery sequences
  • Must have an MR or HR drivers' licence
  • Must have forklift license
  • Must be able to drive a manual vehicle
  • Well-presented and physically capable
  • An awareness of OH&S and safe work practices
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to problem solve, work unsupervised, and work as part of a team

Tasks include

Driving and parking an 8-pallet truck

Assisting with pre-load stock checks, pallet checks & loading of truck

Sequencing the order of deliveries based on location and delivery times

Time management and communication to facilitate the days deliveries

Completing general admin paperwork and managing proof of delivery paperwork (POD)

Some cash collection

Observing and reporting of vehicle maintenance and safety issues

General warehousing duties including picking and packing of deliveries

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $77,000.00 per year
