Australian Care Agency is seeking an experienced Rostering Officer to join our growing team. We focus on in home care and community access for NDIS participants.

The position is based on the Gold Coast with flexible working arrangements available. Targeting 30hours per week. Exact schedule can be adapted for suitably qualified individuals.

About the position

The Rostering Officer plays a key role within our team. You will be responsible on a day-to-day basis for developing and maintaining a SCHADS compliant roster that meets the needs of our participants and support workers. You will also be responsible for approval of time and attendance records, as well as onboarding of support workers into our rostering system and support regular payroll activities.

The Rostering Officer will apply and demonstrate their high level administrative and problem-solving skills and ability to be adaptive, a great communicator, responsive and operate autonomously with confidence.

What we require from you;

  • 2 years rostering experience in a similar role, rostering at least 50+ participants and 50+ support workers
  • Strong understanding of the SCHADS award and applicable conditions
  • Ideally a strong understanding of Shiftcare (or similar NDIS workforce software)
  • Strong interpersonal skills are a must, with support workers, participants and their representatives
  • Positive, open-minded and a can-do attitude focused on finding solutions
  • Ability to work and contribute within a diverse team setting
  • Ability to adapt and work independently within a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to participate in rotating on call duties, shared amongst our team
  • Communicate roster changes with support workers, customers, and internal teams
