As one of Queensland’s earliest nature-based tourist destinations, the Sanctuary is a physical embodiment of everything the NTAQ represents: dedication to conserving our nation’s Indigenous, natural, and historic heritage and culture.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, capable, and reliable person to fill the role of **Guest Services Supervisor**. This is a salary-based role working a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays and school holidays and will assist the Guest Services Manager in delivering the best possible guest experience through visitor services, ticketing, car parking and the cleaning department,

**Position details & duties**

This is combination of hands-on and office-based responsibilities. Duties include:

- Assist in delivering a high quality, safe and memorable guest experience at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary property.
- Front line interaction with all guests, staff and contractors on site.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Complete rosters in a timely manner and cover shifts as per business needs.
- Assist the Head of Operations and Guest Services Manager with daily operations of the park and facilities.
- Assist with third party arrangements/maintenance/repairs
- Perform regular park audits to ensure safety, cleanliness and standards are maintained.
- Ensure assigned tasks and projects are completed in a timely manner, within budget and to target date.
- Position reports to the Guest Services Manager and will cover days off to ensure 7 day per week consistency.
- Manage bookings, refunds, and sales in accordance with the NTAQ purchasing policy
- Liaise with all departments and stakeholders as required to ensure efficiency, safety and guest satisfaction is a priority.

**Selection Criteria**:

- You will require at least 3 years’ experience working within a guest services role.
- You must be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of guest service and conflict resolution.
- Must have an energetic and driven approach to the role.
- Strong level of organisational and time management skills essential.
- Effective verbal and electronic communication skills are essential as well as the confidence and ability to deliver best outcomes.
- Be willing to undertake extra training relevant to the role as identified.
- A professional standard of personal presentation is essential.
- High level computer ability with Microsoft Office suite, POS and Roller preferred but not essential
- Must be comfortable working in an environment that includes mammals, birds and reptiles & be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
