Salesforce Functional Role

  • Facilitate workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to define detailed business requirements.
  • Translate feature scope defined by the Product Owner into well-structured backlog items.
  • Lead story grooming sessions to ensure user stories are clearly defined, prioritized, and development-ready.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and configuration/user guides.
  • Partner closely with Product Owners and Scrum teams to refine the backlog and support sprint and PI planning activities.
  • Liaise with external teams (including UI designers) to ensure stories meet the Definition of Ready.
  • Coordinate and perform handover activities to support seamless transition into operational support processes.

Key duties and responsibilities

Required Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience as a Salesforce Functional Consultant within Agile delivery environments.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and constraints to ensure alignment of acceptance criteria with platform functionality.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration, including objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules.
  • Proficiency in writing and refining user stories with clear, actionable acceptance criteria.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and associated tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence and Azure Devops).

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Contract length: 48 months

Pay: $115.00 – $130.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
