Help Desk and Cybersecurity Support (Freight Forwarding)
Job Overview
The role is responsible to Provide Comprehensive first-level application and user support across user base and support and also coordinate the execution of Internal Cybersecurity measures and maintenance activities.
This role transcends traditional IT support, positioning the specialist as a critical guardian of the company's technological and operational integrity. The ideal candidate must combine technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to evolving cybersecurity challenges
Key Responsibilities
· Manage user onboarding and technical assistance
· Perform system administration support
· Manage user access and permissions
· Coordinate and escalate with IT-MSP and ICT vendors
· Engage at technical and operational levels
· Manage vendor relationships and project requirements
· Develop and coordinate internal user training program
· Internal Cybersecurity measures support and maintenance
· Support the implementation of incident response strategies
· Enforce security protocols across organisational systems
· Cloud platform Management support
· Support business during large scale changes to legal compliance or industry standards
Area Of Impact And Specific Accountabilities
Help Desk support, User Access and Onboarding Management
Cyber Security Governance and compliance: Integrate security risk assessment into business process design
Technical Support and System Administration by Maintaining system reliability and performance
Managing cloud platform infrastructure
Change Management: Design and execute comprehensive change management strategies
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology
Microsoft Cyber Security Analyst Certificate
Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Advanced System administration credentials
Use of Jira or Linear
Technical Proficiencies
Advanced analytics skills using:
Understanding of cloud platform technologies
Cybersecurity Frameworks (Essential 8 , ISO 27001)
Strong knowledge of security protocols- Incident response capabilities
Network Security and Control
Asset Tracking and Management
Advanced and proficient use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel,
Visio, PowerPoint)
Professional Expertise
Minimum 2 years' experience in Freight Forwarding
Minimum 3-5 years of experience IT Support- System Administration- Cybersecurity Operations
Proficiency in user access management and case processing
