What we're looking for:

  • Experience working in a small, fast-paced kitchen with kitchen management skills.
  • Comfortable working across all stations as needed including daily preparation.
  • Breakfast and catering experience are a must. Trade qualified chef.
  • Strong focus on organization, food safety, cleanliness, stock rotation, inventory control, manage costs and waste.
  • Quality assurance – Oversee dishes being served and plated to make sure they are of a high standard, and each dish is uniform in presentation with a keen eye for detail.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Great communication skills – English Speaking.
  • Well-groomed/presented clean cut chef – open kitchen.
  • Able to multitask and react to situations and think on your feet.
  • Menu creation, planning and weekly special suggestions to reflect seasonal ingredients.
  • No 88-day Visa Applicants or Sponsorship
  • Willing to commit to more of a long-term position
  • Must work well within a small group.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Staff Supervision -delegate tasks effectively and have a strong ability to lead and motivate a team. High morale among team members with excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
