About The Role
The Tailored System Support Directorate plays a pivotal role in strengthening alignment between schools, preschools, and central divisions. Its work is centred on building capability, supporting effective resource management, and enabling tailored approaches to improvement.

The Directorate provides wrap-around support to schools identified within the department's 20 Year Infrastructure Plan for South Australian Public Education and Care – Every School a Great School (2024), as well as to other sites requiring uplift. It also leads universal school improvement initiatives that are context-specific, supporting sustained improvement for learners across the system. In addition, the Directorate provides strategic and operational leadership for new school builds, relocations, and expansions.

The Manager, Tailored System Support will lead coordination and planning for the directorate's operation, supporting the strategic implementation of Our Strategy for Public Education.

Relevant Tertiary Qualification and/or relevant experience.

Special conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.

The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration
MAS3 $127,859 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading
