General Manager — Diner Group

Full-Time | Adelaide, SA

Diner Group is a fast-growing multi-brand hospitality company operating across festivals, catering, retail food, and large-scale events. We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead our operations, strengthen our teams, and help drive the next phase of growth.

About the Role

The General Manager will oversee end-to-end operations across multiple venues and brands. You will work closely with the Director to scale systems, improve performance, and ensure operational excellence across the group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff across multiple brands
  • Build high-performing teams and foster a strong workplace culture
  • Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs and operational frameworks
  • Implement and monitor financial controls including COGs, labour costs, and budgeting
  • Build and maintain advanced reporting systems using Excel/Google Sheets
  • Drive business development initiatives and identify new revenue opportunities
  • Manage day-to-day operations, logistics, and supplier relationships
  • Ensure consistent quality across food, service, and brand standards
  • Lead forecasting, planning, and group-wide reporting
About You
  • 10+ years' senior management experience in catering, hospitality, large-scale events, or multi-site operations
  • Proven track record in business development and scaling operations
  • Strong experience implementing and monitoring financial controls (COGs, labour, margins)
  • Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets — able to build reporting tools, dashboards, and financial models
  • Strong leadership skills with experience building and mentoring teams
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
