ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE?
An exciting opportunity for some Full Time Distribution Centre operators (Warehouse Team Members) is now available in our new Fairfield NSW facility
Our Distribution Centres are the hub of activity and paramount to ensuring our customers receive the right stock, on time, every time - this is a crucial part of ensuring that our customer experience is a positive one from start to finish
You will have very good attention to detail, great communication skills and a can-do attitude that is open to learning new processes and working with the team to keep our DC running at it's absolute best with a continuous focus on safety You will also be able to:
- Work in all departments within Distribution Centre (inbound, outbound, HD) as required
- Pick pack customer orders for dispatch with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy (nobody wants a blue sofa when they ordered a red one)
- Unload and load of containers and truck both manually and with MHE
- Periodic stock checks
- Pre-start MHE checklists conducted
- Housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Use of other electronic equipment - ie RF scanners
- Work within a team environment
- Take direction from Team Leaders, Supervisors and DC management team
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for team members who are passionate about delighting customers, want to grow their career, and can be relied on to support our teams - sometimes at short notice.
You may bring with you some experience from a warehouse or labour related role, but we are also interested in speaking to people who are looking to start their career and learn some new skills
We encourage you to apply if you have the following skills:
- Experience in Warehousing and Distribution Environment
- WHS knowledge
- Inbound/Receiving knowledge
- RF systems knowledge
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Sound numerical skills
- Are available to work up to 5 days a week - Mondays to Fridays for varied shifts between the hours of 7am and 11:30pm.
- Physically fit and strong (furniture is heavy)
- You believe in teamwork Every member of the team plays an important role
- If you hold any forklift or LO licences that would be a real bonus - but we also offer training and development for the right candidates
As this role requires physical activity, you will enjoy being `on the go', and will need to be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical check to ensure that you can safely perform the inherent requirements of the position.
