Laboratory Automation Solutions (LAS), our clinical diagnostic division, specialize in the design and manufacture of compact, innovative benchtop automation for optimizing pre- and post-analytical workflows in pathology and analytical laboratories, and has installations worldwide.

Internship Opportunities Available.

Position 1 – Test Engineering Intern

What You'll Do:

• Support testing and validation of robotic lab automation systems

• Assist with firmware calibration, sensor debugging, and mechanical testing

• Conduct root cause analysis and prepare documentation for internal and international deployments

• Participate in exploratory activities and proof-of-concept calibration

What You'll Bring:

• 2nd–3rd year student in Biomedical, Mechatronics, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

• Comfortable with hands-on testing and hardware/software systems

• Curious, proactive, and communicative

• Reliable, punctual, and professional

Eligibility Criteria:

• Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have full working rights

• Be available to work full-time during the internship period

• Be able to attend work daily at our Virginia, Brisbane office

• Be studying a relevant engineering discipline
