  • Six to nine months duration with the possibility of continuing employment with Torrens Transit

The Opportunity

We are currently looking for experienced HR operators to join our Service Delivery team based out of our Morphettville or Mile End Depot - These driving positions are allocated to operating rosters of tram replacement services

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role requires you to have a mature and professional approach with excellent communication skills. Your main duties and responsibilities will include:


• Driving allocated vehicles along specified tram routes as directed, ensuring the care, safety and comfort of Torrens Transit customers

• Working weekdays and weekends across a broad range of rostered hours

• Maintaining strong customer service skills across all interactions with the public

The successful candidates will have:

• Good communication skills

• Passion for customer service and dealing with people

• Good driving history

• Ability and confidence to work autonomously

• A minimum (HR) Licence

• A current Drivers Accreditation (or be willing to obtain)

• A current Working With Children Check clearance
