**Who We Are**:
Our houses are based in the Rockingham area and our community footprint extends from Perth across to Bunbury.

**About you**:
Nurse Assist 24/7 is looking for great **support workers**, who care for and engage with people with a disability. You will be available to work weekends, public holidays and after hours.

If you have a love for helping people, an understanding of and a commitment to promoting and upholding the standards and expectations of the NDIS and have a genuine commitment to persons with disability to support them in making their own decisions to live their best life, we would love to have a conversation with you

**About your experience**:

- Experience in providing support for people with a disability
- Demonstrable experience with complex behaviours
- Support our clients to achieve their NDIS Goals
- deliver high quality support to our clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered
- Understanding and demonstrable ability to support clients with complex needs
- Manual handling
- Infection control and hygiene principles
- helping clients to develop new skills so that they can live as independently as possible
- assisting clients with exploring hobbies or new interests
- working with clients to manage risk, plan goals and implement support services
- Personal care and housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, doing laundry, planning meals and cooking
- Proactive and positive team player

**Qualifications, Licenses and Certificates**:

- Certificate III in Disability or other relevant qualifications desirable but not essential
- NDIS Workers Screen Check - _Nurse Assist 24/7 will provide an employer code should you require_
- Working with Children’s Check
- NDIS Module
- Infection Control Module
- First Aid

Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: $23.16 - $32.37 per hour

- Afternoon shift

- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Rockingham WA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Support Working: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)
