About the role

Join our rapidly growing solar and battery storage business as an Internal Sales Representative. This full-time role is based at our modern office in Yatala, Queensland. As an Internal Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our solar and battery products by engaging directly with customers, responding to enquiries, and converting leads into sales.

What you'll be doing

  1. Actively engage with customers via phone, email and online chat to understand their energy needs and provide tailored solutions
  2. Respond to inbound sales enquiries and proactively follow up on qualified leads
  3. Provide customers with accurate and up-to-date product information, pricing, and installation details
  4. Work closely with the technical and installation teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  5. Contribute to the development of sales strategies and initiatives to drive growth
  6. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities

What we're looking for

  1. Proven track record in an internal sales or customer service role, preferably in the solar, renewable energy or home improvement industries
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage effectively with customers
  3. Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills to overcome objections and close sales
  4. Passion for renewable energy and a desire to contribute to a more sustainable future
  5. Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
  6. Proficiency in using CRM systems and MS Office suite
