This is truly unique retail/ guest experience work – Based at Taronga Zoo, Mosman

Taronga is looking for driven and motivated Zoo Friends Membership Officers to join our team moving into our Mega Peak period.

About the Role…

  • Shifts typically range between 9am till 5:30pm and 10am till 3pm
  • You should have 4 days availability over a 7-day roster
  • 3 to 4 shifts per week on offer

Key accountabilities…

  • Sell and promote Zoo Friends annual passes in order to grow the current membership base to generate revenue needed to enable Taronga to continue its work both in caring for the animals in our Zoos and in supporting and caring for wildlife in its natural habitat.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of the Zoo Friends program by responding to member enquiries, processing membership applications and renewals, completing administration tasks and ensuring the membership office is well presented.
  • Comply with Taronga's Customer Service Charter and suggest initiatives for further improvement to ensure industry leading standards are maintained.
  • Deliver high quality customer service experiences in order to provide excellent guest experience and promote repeat visitation.
  • Work effectively as a member of a high performing team, to assist Taronga in its achievement of strategic outcomes.

  • Have superior customer service and sales skills
  • Maintain a current Working with Children Check prior to employment
