About the role

We're looking for a professionally developed, proactive, and safety-focused Materials Coordinator to support our warehouse and inventory operations across our QLD & NT assets. This role ensures the efficient supply, handling, storage and distribution of materials to field staff and contractors, as well as contributing to the smooth delivery of projects and services across the network.

This position will need to be based near one of our Queensland Operational depots and is responsible for supporting our Gas Transmission Operational & Project Teams across Queensland and Northern Territory.

The role involves regular travel across Queensland and Northern Territory supporting over 10 Locations; therefore, a strong commitment and a willingness to travel is essential.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Support with receiving, storing, issuing and distribution of materials across Zinfra operations
  • Coordinate and undertake inventory movements, stocktakes, and cycle counts
  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to meet material requirements
  • Maintain accurate records and use inventory systems for tracking and reporting
  • Ensure setup, compliance, and continuous improvement of our warehouses.
  • Support continuous improvement of warehouse systems and processes
  • Provide high-level customer service to all stakeholders

About You

You're a team player with strong attention to detail and a passion for operational excellence in a warehouse environment, along with a can do attitude and can work independently. You will also possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Qualifications in Warehouse and or Inventory management (desirable)
  • Experience in warehousing and inventory controls and processes
  • Knowledge of manual handling techniques, Dangerous Goods and WHS practices
  • Current forklift license, construction white card and valid Australian driver's license
  • Familiarity with SAP or other WMS systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc)
