Job Overview

The Service Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of IT services by coordinating and scheduling technical resources, managing service appointments, and optimising workflows. This role maintains accurate schedules, communicating with clients and engineers, and ensuring timely execution of service requests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule IT service appointments based on availability, priority, and client requirements.
  • Coordinate with clients to confirm service times, access requirements, and scope of work.
  • Manage resource allocation to ensure optimal use of technical staff and minimize downtime.
  • Monitor service queues and assign tasks according to SLAs and urgency.
  • Update scheduling systems and service management platforms with real-time data.
  • Reschedule or escalate appointments as needed due to changes in availability or client needs.
  • Generate reports on service delivery performance, technician utilization, and scheduling efficiency.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to forecast workload and plan ahead.
  • Coordinate with Procurement to facilitate seamless installation processes and resolve any issues prior to installation.
  • Follow up with the Account Manager to ensure all relevant details are accurately captured in service tickets.
  • Serve as a backup for Procurement, supporting purchasing activities and vendor communications as needed.
  • Undertake other responsibilities as needed.
