Specialising in crafting high-quality kitchens for the Australian market, KI provides comprehensive solutions, including top-notch cabinetry, stone benchtops, and glass splashbacks. Catering to major domestic home builders, private builders, and renovators, KI has positioned itself as a trusted name in the industry.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Store Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimising store operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy in handling materials.

Key Responsibilities:

The Store Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Check supplier order confirmations against purchase orders.
  • Follow up with backorders from suppliers, updating ETAs, and communicating information to the Production team.
  • Purchase materials based on job lists and ERP system trigger points.
  • Update and maintain purchase order records, providing visibility to internal team members.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local purchasing suppliers.
  • Collaborate with the Production and Sales Teams to meet daily requirements.
  • Update and maintain purchasing records, including pricing before receipting.
  • Receipt daily orders and generate Production-specific reports.
  • Ensure stock integrity in the Store.
  • Conduct stock control, stock take, and transfer order control activities.
  • Provide assistance to the Store team when required.

Qualifications and Skills:

The ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Inventory control.
  • Highly developed analytical and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent data entry skills.
  • Exposure to ERP Systems (stock control, bill of materials, MRP, and Purchasing modules).
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive, highly motivated, and flexible.
