About Koala Kindy

About the Role

Our Educators play an important role supporting the Director of Early Learning, our Lead Educators and the rest of the team to successfully deliver our educational programs in accordance with the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines, Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework.

We are currently seeking a qualified Educator that is passionate about early childhood education. You will use this passion to effectively engage and build positive relationships with our children, their families, the Koala Kindy team and the wider College community

Duties

As an Educator, you will support the creation of an innovative learning environment in which children feel comfortable and encouraged to thrive as our youngest learners of the College. You will:

  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver educational programs
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with all stakeholders
  • Actively participate in program improvement
  • Comply with Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines, Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework
  • Contribute to the documentation of the children's skills and interests.

Essential qualifications and experience

  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (minimum)
  • Working with Children Check (Paid Blue Card)
  • Experience working in Early Childhood Education
  • Understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
  • Certificate in First Aid
  • Certificate in CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma

Highly regarded qualifications, skills and experience

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher
