About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional cafe experience by preparing high-quality coffee and beverages, delivering excellent customer service, and contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of our cafe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and non-coffee beverages to a consistently high standard.
  • Operate and maintain coffee machines and equipment.
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service, including taking orders and handling payments.
  • Manage the till and ensure accurate cash handling.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and seating areas.
  • Assist with food preparation and serving as required.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including food handling standards.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient cafe operations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Barista in a fast-paced cafe or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Food handling certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Flexibility to work within cafe operating hours (Monday to Friday).
