About Us

Hatch Café is entering an exciting new chapter We're extending our hours and evolving into a unique space in Perth where people can experience authentic Japanese-inspired matcha culture. From finely whisked ceremonial matcha to handcrafted matcha desserts and matcha soba noodles, we aim to provide our community with a one-of-a-kind café experience.

The Role

We're looking for passionate and skilled Baristas to join our growing team. As the face of Hatch Café, you'll not only craft excellent coffee and tea but also play a key role in bringing our matcha-focused vision to life. This is a chance to be part of something special as we reintroduce what café culture can be in Perth.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and serve specialty coffee, matcha, tea, and other beverages to a high standard

* Share your passion for hospitality while offering warm, genuine customer service

* Support our new menu offerings, including matcha desserts and soba noodles

* Maintain a clean, organised workspace and uphold food safety standards

* Assist with café operations including opening, closing, and daily flow

* Contribute to our positive team culture during this exciting transformation

What We're Looking For

* Previous barista experience in a café setting preferred

* A genuine interest in coffee, tea, and café culture (matcha curiosity a bonus)

* Passion for hospitality and building connections with customers

* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while keeping detail in focus

* Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and public holidays as required

* A team player with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn

Pay: $24.95 – $40.80 per hour
