About Us

Açaí Affair is a premium self-serve açaí and frozen yogurt brand, offering customers a fun and fresh experience with a mix of "nice & naughty" toppings, protein smoothies, and healthy treats. After successfully opening two stores and with our third on the way, we're looking for a motivated and passionate Store Manager to join our growing team.

The Role

As Store Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store, leading a team, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and ensuring smooth running of all aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of casual and part-time staff
  • Ensure outstanding customer service and in-store experience
  • Manage rosters, stock control, ordering, and daily operations
  • Drive store performance and meet sales targets
  • Implement food safety and hygiene standards
  • Handle staff performance, coaching, and incident reporting
  • Work closely with management on promotions and marketing campaigns

About You

  • Minimum 2 years of management experience in hospitality/retail (food service highly regarded)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Passion for customer service and creating positive experiences
  • Ability to manage staff performance and resolve issues calmly
  • Organized, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays including early mornings and evenings as required
  • Current Food Safety Supervisor certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
  • Must have unrestricted rights to work in Australia
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills for rostering and stock management
