We are looking for a Senior Analytics and Insights Analyst to uplift the enterprise data and analytics capability.

The position will report to the Analytics Lead and be part of the Service Stream's Analytics & Insights function. The role is critical to improving analytical capabilities at Service Stream by implementing the latest features and technologies, to drive rich and comprehensive analysis.

You will join a high-performing, welcoming team, based at our modern Head Office, which offers a vibrant environment featuring a balcony, BBQ area, collaborative and quiet spaces, and plenty of natural light.

About the role

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Build, develop and maintain dashboards, including data models and performance metrics that provide valuable insights and supports key business decisions.

• Implement advanced Microsoft Fabric capabilities including lakehouses, warehouses, pipelines, and other features.

• Transform data and analysis into actionable insights for business stakeholders.

• Support analytics initiatives and offer ad-hoc analytics assistance to stakeholders.

• Work and build relationships with a range of cross-functional stakeholders in Operations, Finance, Business.

• Support the agile delivery process within the function.

• Provide insights to propel the business forward, in areas including performance management, process improvement and innovation.

About you

Our ideal candidate will have:

• 4-5 years of experience in an analytics role, delivering data-driven solutions in a complex organisation.

• Proven track record of using a data platform such as Microsoft Fabric or similar. 

• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS or Azure.

• Hands-on experience working with and optimising large datasets and models.

• Advanced SQL proficiency.

• Python and automation experience would be a bonus.

• Industry experience in facilities management, property management, or government contracts would be a bonus.

• Ability to work across multiple business teams.

• Ability to work across a complex analytics project in a complex environment.

• Bachelor's degree in commerce, IT, mathematics, or engineering.

• Passionate about building analytics solutions.

• Must be a strong advocate for how data and insights can improve business decisions.
