We're on the lookout for an engaging Senior Analytical Chemist to join our busy Global R&D team. In this role, you'll partner directly with our internal and external teams to provide quantitative residue analytical expertise to support both predevelopment and development molecules within Portfolio Solutions. This will include method development for agrochemical active ingredients Residue, Ecotoxicology and Environmental studies as well as metabolite identification. As our Senior Analytical Chemist you will generate data in the lab and also partner directly with global Contract Research Organizations (CRO) to ensure successful transfer and execution of methods for external sample analysis.

Your Future, Fuelled by Innovation
Actively engage and lead analytical method development / troubleshooting for the analysis of new molecules including trace level analysis of residues in agricultural samples. You will work to define and optimise sample extraction, clean-up, and instrument conditions for pipeline molecules as well as existing molecules.
Provide hands-on and distant trouble shooting at CROs or Melbourne labs through effective technical collaboration.
Stay abreast of new discoveries and technologies in environmental and analytical chemistry and implements new approaches when appropriate.
Partner effectively with other disciplines on project and regulatory teams by providing analytical chemistry support and analytical expertise to support regulatory strategies.
Maintains an innovative focus on residue analysis and driving pipeline projects to market.
Serve as analytical Subject Matter Expert (SME) on projects for Portfolio Solutions including predevelopment projects.
Comply with all laboratory safety procedures, GLP Standards, and all other study-specific or pertinent regulatory agency requirements.
Could This Be You?
You're an energetic, innovative, collaborative and degree qualified Chemist with trace level analytical experience using Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry Quantification (LC-MS / MS), broad knowledge of sample extraction, method development, trade quntifcation and clean-up techniques from complex matrices leading the project from end to end.
Your knowledge and understanding of quality, safety standards and 5S principles will put you ahead of the pack
