About the role:

• Afternoon/Evening shifts from 1:00pm - 9:00pm

• Base adult rate from $30.78

Our Trade Centre's operate a little differently to our retail sites providing a delivery and pick up solution for key building lines, delivering bulk quantities of materials to building sites. We partner with our commercial customers, helping them manage their projects with a 'whole of build' solution.

A s a Trade Centre Supervisor, you will provide support to the senior leadership team and act as a continual support to oversee workflow, setting an example to other team members and ensuring day-to-day operations of the trade centre run smoothly .

This is a full-time role and flexibility to work afternoon and evening shifts 1pm-9pm Monday to Friday is required so that we can provide the best experience to our customers

What's involved:

• Lead by example to provide best experience for our customers and team members.

• Assist with inducting and training team members

• Supporting the team with pick and packing customer orders where required

• Organise deliveries and ensure customer orders are dispatched in full and on time

• Coordinate stock, loading and unloading products on delivery trucks

• Communicate with key stakeholders including account managers, suppliers and site supervisors

Who we're looking for:

Our ideal candidate will share a genuine passion for retail and be complimentary to the Trade Centre leadership team. You will have previous experience supervising a team in a fast-paced environment, have open communication and a genuine interest in coaching and developing others .

This role is a great opportunity for an aspiring leader to grow their leadership career in a supportive team environment.

You'll need:

• Ability to coach and support others, providing feedback and getting the best out of a team

• An ability to achieve results and standards by working with your team

• Current forklift license would be ideal but not essential

• A commitment to upholding a strong safety culture

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Recent experience in a pick and pack role or a background in commercial and building products highly regarded
