**About the role**

An exciting opportunity for a Transport Supervisor to join our growing team

You will be responsible for leading the transport operations with our Container Parks team to ensure service delivery, customer service, costs and safety outcomes are met.

You will report to the Transport Manager and supervise a team of Transport Coordinators, Allocators and Truck Drivers.

**The key roles and responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to**:

- Supervise the planning of Stack Runs, Rail Transfers, Customer Deliveries and AQIS related requests in and out of DP World Container Parks
- Working closely with our customers to meet their requirements and manage any issues
- Ensure inhouse transport is running efficiently to meet operational requirements and ensure safety and compliance standards are met (following NHVR regulations)
- Lead the implementation of the new Transport Management System
- Act as the super user for the TMS and key point of contact within the Transport team for the implementation project
- Manage the training and upskilling in the Transport team Supervise a team of Transport Coordinators, Allocators and Truck Drivers

**About you**
- 3-5 years’ experience in a Transport Related role with strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility
- Understanding of Container Transport industry and experience with Containerchain and 1-Stop
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to oversee a team to deliver outcomes in line with business requirements and expectations Ability to in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure**Supporting equality**
