Operator

InfraBuild Steel Centre Toowomba are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Operator to join our friendly team.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity working Monday to Friday.

Shifts alternate between 6:00 am – 2:00 pm and 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, with occasional opportunities for overtime (paid at penalty rates).

We are offering a $1,500 sign on bonus plus a generous pay rate of $30 per hour

 Your duties will include:

• Picking and packing orders for despatch
• Face to face customer service 
• Adherence to safety policies and procedures
• Operating a forklift and overhead crane, training provided 
• Using a variety of machines, such as bandsaw and dropsaw
• Working in a team environment

To be successful, you will have:

• Exceptional commitment to safety
• Willingness to learn and upskill
• Excellent customer service skills
• A natural ability to think on your feet and solve problems
• Forklift license desirable or be willing to obtain
