Are you passionate about helping people navigate major career changes? Do you have a knack for guiding individuals through the challenges and opportunities of a professional pivot? We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Career Transition Advisor to support our client in a short term project. In this role, you will play a crucial part in empowering individuals to find their next success story.

The Role

As a Career Transition Advisor, you will work one-on-one with clients, providing guidance and support throughout their career journey. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting detailed one-on-one consultations to understand each person's unique skills, experience, and career goals.
  • Helping clients identify transferable skills and explore new career paths.
  • Providing hands-on support with resume and cover letter writing,
  • Conducting mock interviews and providing constructive feedback to boost confidence.

  • Assist in delivering workshops on a range of topics, including job search strategies, networking, and personal branding.

  • Offering tools and resources to support job searching and career planning

  • Staying up-to-date with current job market trends and industry demands to provide the most relevant advice.

  • Maintaining detailed records of client progress and outcomes.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in career counseling, human resources, or recruitment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A high degree of empathy and the ability to build trust and rapport with a diverse range of clients.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients effectively.
  • Familiarity with various career assessment tools and job search platforms.
  • A proactive, results-oriented mindset.
