We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Machine Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Machine Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laundry facilities by maintaining and repairing our state-of-the-art laundry machines.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance and inspections on laundry machines to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with laundry machines.

  • Repair or replace defective parts and components to restore machine functionality.

  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to prolong the lifespan of laundry machines.

  • Collaborate with other team members to identify and address potential machine issues.

  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.

  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Technical experience in machine maintenance, preferably in a commercial laundry or similar industry.

  • First aid certification is required.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and laundry machine models.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads when necessary.
