We're looking for an outstanding leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as
Executive Manager, People, Safety & Culture (PSC)
. This role will lead a high-performing national team responsible for ensuring Bush Heritage is a safe, inclusive, capable, and resilient organisation unified to advance the protection of healthy country forever.
The role
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will:
- Lead the People, Safety & Culture portfolio across people, safety, volunteering, organisational development, workforce systems (including payroll), and major culture programs such as
Seeding the Future
. - Drive strategy, systems and frameworks that support our people to thrive and deliver against Strategy 2030.
- Champion safety, wellbeing, diversity and cultural competency across the organisation.
- Provide trusted advice and leadership to the CEO, Senior Leadership Team and Board.
- Represent Bush Heritage as a sector leader in people, safety and culture.
About you
You are an experienced executive leader with a track record of delivering organisation-wide impact in people, safety and culture. You bring:
- Extensive experience leading national People & Culture, Organisational Development or related functions.
- Strong strategic and operational leadership.
- Experience in workforce systems (including payroll), volunteering, health and safety, and organisational culture initiatives.
- Proven ability to engage and collaborate with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and organisations, with commitment to right-way approaches.
- Advanced emotional intelligence, influencing skills, and the ability to inspire and empower people across diverse geographies include remote workplaces.
