Cencora Pharmalex is one of the leading service providers for the Pharmaceutical Industry globally and is specialized in all aspects of drugs and medical devices approval, of the market development and any action of effective product maintenance.
Summary
Responsible for effectively executing wide-ranging business development tactics to meet or exceed defined targets by prospecting new and leveraging existing relationships.
To bring in new business and develop this into long standing relationships for repeat business.
Responsibilities
- Manage own sales territory (combination of named accounts and/or geographic/market-based territory) and achieve annual and quarterly signings and revenue target quotas.
- Generate new clients through cold calling, networking, business partnerships and sales activity to promote PharmaLex services.
- Identify new, valuable and emerging companies. Deploy a comprehensive array of sales techniques to find and close business to achieve or exceed target.
- Act as client point of contact and ensure on-going client satisfaction throughout sales process.
- Work closely with internal operational departments to continually develop the value proposition.
- Serve as a business representative at major industry events, conferences and trade shows.
- Manage the sales process from lead generation, proposal through to contract negotiation and deal closure involving PharmaLex resources as appropriate.
- Actively participate in all global and regional sales meetings (expected to be scheduled face-to-face one to two times per year and other virtual meetings as required).
- Leverage external and internal contact network to acquire new business.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of professional experience in selling clinical, regulatory, pharmacovigilance solutions and complex services contracts into the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Medical Device markets.
- Drive for results.
- Able to work effectively in a dynamic global matrix environment.
- Ability to hunt for and close new business.
- Sense of responsibility and diplomacy.
- Very good command of English.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills essential.
- Ability to travel within your selected territory and globally when required.
