About the role:

This position is a part-time role within the hospital's Dietary Services team, combining responsibilities across both Catering Assistant and Kitchen Hand duties. The role supports the safe, efficient, and high-quality preparation and delivery of food services to patients, staff, and hospital departments.

Hours Breakdown:

  • 2 x Catering Assistant Shifts
  • 3 x Kitchen Hand Shifts
  • Total: Approximately 34.9 hours per week

You are a dependable and proactive team member with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality food services in a healthcare environment. You take pride in maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and customer care.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, staff, and team members
  • Strong customer service focus and a friendly, helpful attitude
  • Reliable, punctual, and works effectively as part of a team
  • Understands and applies safe food handling and hygiene practices
  • Knowledge of HACCP procedures and food safety documentation
  • Maintains excellent personal hygiene and professional presentation
