Job Title: Sales Functional Consultant – JDE Sales & Distribution

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Distribution Process Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes including Direct Ship, Drop-Ship, Pricing, Outputs, and Customer & Material Master Data.
  • Hands-on experience with Sales Document configurations (e.g., VOV8, VOV7, VOV6), Item Categories, and OTC tables.

Configuration & Enhancement

  • Proficient in SD module configurations, data flow mapping, and functional specifications.
  • Experience in application support and maintenance, including incident, problem, and change management.
  • Skilled in enhancement work: requirement gathering, functional spec preparation, testing, and release coordination.

Testing & Documentation

  • Conduct SIT and UAT testing for Sales and Distribution scenarios.
  • Maintain and update SIT/UAT sheets, defect logs, and ALM entries.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Finance, Procurement, and Planning teams for integrated process flows.
  • Support PR-PO process understanding and integration where applicable.

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Strong communication and customer interaction skills.
  • Flexibility to work in rotational shifts (NZ time).

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to JDE SD environments.
  • Familiarity with interface handling, especially in cross-module scenarios.
  • Experience in data migration, integrity analysis, and production support.
  • Knowledge of VAT management processes and compliance in sales operations is a plus.
