About the Role:

We're excited to offer an internal opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Manager based full-time at Berri Estates. This permanent role is a key part of Vinarchy's Transformation team, driving operational excellence and embedding lean principles across our site.

You'll lead the charge in identifying and eliminating inefficiencies, coordinating change initiatives, and ensuring best practices are sustained. With a focus on delivering real, transformative impact, you'll help shape smarter, more agile operations by leveraging emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the rollout of the Operational Excellence Strategy across core supply chain functions (PLAN, SOURCE, MAKE, MOVE).
  • Champion continuous improvement using Lean tools, standardised frameworks, and visual management systems.
  • Optimise processes to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and achieve performance targets.
  • Provide technical input on new process development, including Industry 4.0 technologies and innovation trials.
  • Partner with IT to evaluate data, security, and cost implications of new technologies.
  • Manage strategic improvement initiatives and maintain project pipelines aligned with business goals.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics including cost, yield, efficiency, and quality.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships and drive effective communication across teams.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Promote a culture of respect, responsibility, and active participation in QSE and CSR initiatives.

You'll also be able to demonstrate the following skills/experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering and / or Lean Manufacturing.
  • Extensive experience in implementing and running a lean / continuous improvement program and culture.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and communicate at all levels of the organisation.
  • The ability to work well under pressure.
