About the Role

As a
Solutions Engineer
at Prometheus Group, you will act as a trusted technical advisor to both prospects and customers. Partnering closely with our sales team, you'll play a key role in
demonstrating solutions, managing technical evaluations, and ensuring our software aligns with customer needs.

This is a customer-facing role where your technical knowledge, consultative skills, and ability to translate business processes into solutions will directly influence our growth and success.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver engaging
    product demonstrations
    via online meetings, on-site visits, webinars, and industry events.
  • Guide prospects through the
    technical capabilities
    of Prometheus solutions, mapping features to business outcomes.
  • Provide expertise on
    business processes and workflows
    , showing how Prometheus can improve efficiency and safety.
  • Manage the technical aspects of the sales process, including
    RFPs, RFIs, and scopes of work.
  • Lead and support customer
    trials and proof of concepts
    , including consulting, configuration, and training.
  • Conduct
    end-user training
    for customers and trial users.
  • Create
    functional and technical documentation
    for new solutions before handoff to support teams.
  • Collaborate with sales and internal teams as the
    voice of technical expertise
    during the sales cycle.
  • Partner with customers to ensure solutions are implemented successfully and deliver measurable value.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer, Chemical, Mechanical, etc.) or a related field.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as
    SAP PM, IBM Maximo, JD Edwards, or Oracle Primavera
    is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of
    maintenance work, plant operations, and safety processes.
  • Excellent
    presentation and communication skills
    with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Highly motivated to
    own the technical aspects of the sales process
    .
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and driven in preparation and execution.
