About the role

At TasNetworks, we play a vital role in delivering safe, reliable, and secure electricity to all Tasmanians. We're looking for a skilled and motivated Cyber Security Governance Leader to establish and guide how we deliver and manage cyber security across the business.

In this senior role, you'll lead the development and improvement of our cyber security policies, standards, and industry frameworks in line with business risks, providing expert advice where required. The role will also be responsible for supporting teams across the business to meet SoCI obligations, whilst overseeing our Critical Infrastructure Risk Management Program (CIRMP), making sure we meet important legal and security obligations across areas like physical and cyber security, supply chain, information, and personnel.

The role will work closely with teams across the business to ensure that cyber risks and compliance obligations are understood, managed, and reported effectively, whilst leading the Cyber Risk and Awareness team, helping build the skills, tools, and awareness needed to strengthen our cyber security maturity.

About you

As a focussed and driven leader, you will offer a strong understanding of cyber security governance and risk management, with demonstrated experience in a commercial and/or leadership role.

You will offer experience with frameworks like AESCSF, Essential Eight, ISO 27001, or PSPF (preferred) and proven experience in change management and regulation processes, coupled with a qualification in cyber security, governance or business analysis (or related experience, ideally in critical infrastructure or the energy sector).

You will be proactive with the ability to work independently on complex tasks to deliver outcomes, drawing upon your strong planning and time management skills to manage competing priorities.

You will offer excellent communication, collaboration and leadership skills, with a focus on building effective stakeholder relationships and influencing others.

This newly created role is a wonderful opportunity to assist in protecting the future of Tasmania's energy network, be sure to reach out to enquiry or submit your application today
