Location: Derrimut, VIC | Full-time
AHB Group is Victoria's largest residential builder. With multiple brands under our umbrella and thousands of homes delivered each year, we know strong systems are the backbone of great building.
We're looking for someone from the residential construction industry who loves systems, has strong computer skills, and wants to be part of our IT team. You might come from Estimating, Operations, or Site Management – but what matters is that you understand how our industry works and have the curiosity and grit to dive into our ERP system, BusinessCraft, becoming a "super user" who can see the cascading impacts across workflows.
This is a rare chance to combine your construction knowledge with technology and help shape the systems that keep our business moving.
What You'll Be Doing
- Becoming a super user of our ERP system (BusinessCraft) – setup, configuration, testing and maintenance.
- Supporting end-users with queries and troubleshooting issues.
- Understanding how process changes impact end-to-end workflows – and guiding teams accordingly.
- Assisting in training sessions, onboarding new users, and preparing guides/documentation.
- Working with stakeholders across the business – Estimating, Drafting, Construction, Operations – to make sure systems support outcomes.
- Driving continuous improvement and helping us get the best out of our tools.
What You'll Bring
- A background in residential construction (essential) – e.g., Estimating, Operations, Drafting, or Site Management.
- Strong computer literacy with a love for systems, processes, and problem-solving.
- A sharp eye for detail and structured approach to challenges.
- Excellent communication skills – you can talk "construction" and "systems" fluently.
- The ability to work independently but also collaborate across multiple departments.
Experience That Helps
- Prior exposure to ERP systems (BusinessCraft highly regarded, but not essential – training provided).
- 3+ years in construction-related roles.
- Familiarity with workflows around estimating, drafting, construction, or customer service.
Why Join Us?
- Be part of a market leader – AHB Group is the largest builder in Victoria and 6th nationally.
- Blend construction with tech – use your industry knowledge in a new way.
- Work with a supportive IT team passionate about systems and continuous improvement.
- Derrimut office base, with flexibility once autonomy is demonstrated.
- A culture that values teamwork, solutions, and plenty of laughs along the way.
Ready to turn your construction experience into a systems career? Apply now with your CV and cover letter.
Note: You must have full Australian working rights and be available for in-person interviews. AHB Group does not accept unsolicited resumes from agencies.
