About the role

Kounis Group is seeking a Draftsman to join our team in our Booragoon, Perth office. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality drafting services to support our engineering projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings and technical documentation to support project deliverables
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret project requirements and design specifications
  • Ensure all drafting work complies with relevant Australian Standards, building codes, and company policies
  • Participate in project meetings to provide updates and obtain feedback on drafting activities
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all drafting work completed

What we're looking for

  • Qualification in Engineering Drafting or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Draftsman, in Sheet Metal design and engineering
  • Proficient in the use of CAD software such as AutoCAD or Solid Works
  • Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks is essential for this role
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, design specifications, and industry standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality drafting work
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively liaise with engineering teams
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines
  • Australian work rights are required for this position
