Structural Draftsman

**Job Overview**:
Prepare 2D & 3D drawings, support Senior Structural Designers.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Complete drafting requests in a timely manner & of a standard in line with project & company expectations.
Requests may consist of, but not limited to, the following types of drawings:

- Installation Aids
- Crane Lift Charts
- Vessel & Barge Deck Layouts
- Procedural Storyboards
- Vessel & Barge Seafastening
- Field Layouts
- Rigging Arrangements
- Alignment Sheets
- Ensure the drafting & design review process is followed.
- Accurately manage & maintain electronic and hard copy filing throughout the life of drawings.
- Build and maintain sound working relationships with all project personnel.
- Positively contribute to improving existing processes.
- Any other duties that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis.

**Essential Qualifications and Education**:

- Diploma or other Technical Qualification or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2-5 yrs of engineering drafting/design experience in the Offshore and Subsea Oil & Gas Industry or Onshore Petrochem. or mining industries.

**Preferred Qualifications and Education**:

- AutoCAD 2D & 3D - Proficient user (minimum)
- Inventor &/or Solidworks - would be highly regarded
- Outlook, Excel, Adobe Reader - Proficient user
