On 1 January 2026 five health services (Kooweerup Regional Health Service, Peninsula Health, Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health Service) will come together to create Bayside Health. A newly merged health service with more than 22,000 employees caring for a community of over 1.2 million Victorians.

The new health service will provide people with the best possible care with services that support them throughout their lives. The merger will also strengthen our workforce, providing new training, education and career opportunities. Subject to final approval on 1 January 2026, all employees from the five health services will transfer to Bayside Health.

What You Will Be Doing

Step into a role that's more than a job At MePACS, a division of Peninsula Health, you will help us support over 47,000 seniors, people living with disability and chronic conditions, and lone workers out in the community. As an Emergency Response Operator, you will work with a strong, collaborative team. You will respond swiftly to medical emergencies, contact clients for welfare checks, dispatch emergency services, maintain client records, and ensure the functionality of MePACS alarms and emergency pendants. What You Need

We anticipate you will have:

• Ability to work all shifts, including days, afternoons and nights on a 24-hour rotating roster
• Level 1 First Aid Certificate
• Proficient in computer systems and touch typing abilities
• Experienced with MS Dynamics CRM (desirable)
• Some healthcare, aged care or disability services industry experience (desirable)
