Your New Role

The Senior Manager, IT Program will provide leadership and end-to-end delivery oversight for complex, cross-functional technology programs. This role ensures programs are aligned with organisational objectives, delivered on time and within budget.

Core Accountabilities:

• Define program vision, objectives, scope and success criteria in alignment with business strategy.
• Lead the execution of the program of work, ensuring that milestones are met, risks are managed and that projects are delivered on time and within budget, in accordance with Development Victoria's technology standards and policies.
• Develop and maintain complex project schedules; scope and estimate costs; prepare cost plans' risk assessments and management plans. Manage tender processes in accordance with probity standards and relevant government policies and monitor and manage vendor performance.
• Engage with key stakeholders across the organisation, including staff, leaders and managers to build understanding, support and commitment to various improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and awareness of risks relevant to their area of responsibility and implement effective risk management practices.

About You

• Demonstrated experience leading Technology Improvement and implementation programs across complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of IT project delivery frameworks and enterprise architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills and experience influencing at executive levels.
• Strategic mindset with a readiness to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
