Role Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance/ Quality Control Specialist to join our Quality team, reporting directly to the QA Manager. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about food quality, compliance, and continuous improvement, and who wants to build their expertise in a growing business.
As Quality Control Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring Everest products meet the highest standards of safety, consistency, and customer satisfaction. You'll carry out routine testing, support both internal and external audits, and work closely with production teams to embed quality practices into every stage of the process.
This is a hands-on, factory-floor role with plenty of opportunity to contribute to broader quality and improvement projects as Everest continues its exciting growth journey.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or related discipline.
- At least 3–5 years' experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment including Lab equipment experience.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards; SQF and export experience advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent record-keeping and reporting skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with operations teams.
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to take initiative and contribute to process improvements.
- Ability to work on-site in Melbourne, VIC.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
