Key Position Responsibilities:

MBV is seeking an experienced Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) Trainer for a 12-month contract to support students and trainers by embedding LLND strategies into vocational education and training practices. Key tasks include:

  • Conduct thorough LLND assessments for new students, develop tailored support plans, deliver individual sessions as needed, and continuously monitor and adapt strategies to support student progress
  • Collaborate on creating LLND-inclusive training materials, review and improve existing resources to align with best teaching practices, and maintain a flexible toolkit for team use
  • Integrate digital tools and content to enhance LLND delivery, ensuring all support materials are accessible and user-friendly across platforms
  • Systematically track LLND outcomes, maintain detailed records, and contribute to ongoing process improvements through data-informed reviews

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Holds the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent), ensuring compliance with vocational education standards
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering LLND support within vocational or adult education settings, including assessing learner needs and developing individual learning plans
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary LLND pedagogy and adult learning principles, with a proven ability to create inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environments
