About your role
We are seeking a dynamic professional to lead our Australian customer service operations, planning, inventory, and international supply logistics for imported, exported, and cross-traded products within the IXOM portfolio. This pivotal role oversees the entire end-to-end process—from demand and supply planning, supplier management, and order placement, through to final delivery. A key focus of this position is to deliver outstanding service and drive operational excellence for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the customer service team to deliver outstanding results
- Oversee end-to-end order and service management processes
- Manage international supply chain operations for imported, exported, and cross-traded products
- Drive effective planning and inventory management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
- Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reporting
- Develop, coach, and mentor team members to support their growth
- Identify opportunities to enhance margin and profitability
- Manage and resolve incidents to ensure seamless operations
Who are we looking for?
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in team management and customer service leadership with a strong operational background international shipping, logistics and/or freight forwarding.
- Proven ability to manage complex supply chain operations, including international import/export activities and container logistics.
- Detailed understanding of sales and operations planning processes
- Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership capabilities to support cross functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with a focus on integration, transformation, and continuous improvement.
- Deep understanding of order-to-cash processes and customer service best practices, with experience in implementing process improvement initiatives.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems; experience with SAP ECC6 or SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.
- Ability to think strategically and analytically, using data and insights to drive decisions and improve performance.
