Our Client

Our client is a highly regarded plaintiff compensation law firm with a strong reputation for client care and professionalism. With multiple offices, the firm supports injured clients across Queensland with a people-first approach.

The Opportunity

This is a dedicated receptionist role focused on answering and routing inbound calls so clients reach the right person quickly. You'll be the calm, professional first point of contact directing calls across the firm.

Importantly, this is not a general admin role - the emphasis is on call quality and great client experience, not back-office tasks.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Professionally answer, triage, and route calls to the appropriate teams/lawyers
  • Monitor queues to minimise wait times and missed calls
  • Capture accurate messages and follow up where needed
  • Maintain a warm, reassuring tone for clients who may be under stress
  • Work closely with support staff to continually improve the caller experience

What We're Looking For

  • Excellent phone manner with strong communication skills and a client-service focus
  • Experience in a switchboard reception environment (legal/medical/professional services helpful)
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and composure under pressure
  • A positive attitude - friendly, professional, and solutions-focused
