Customer Service Assistant – Meal Delivery Company (Aged Care Support)

Location: Clayton South

Hours: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 10am – 5pm

Start Date: As soon as possible

About the Role

We're looking for a friendly and empathetic Customer Service Assistant to join our team and be the first point of contact for our aged care customers. You'll be responsible for managing customer inquiries, taking orders, resolving delivery issues, and providing day-to-day support to ensure our clients have a positive experience every time.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys meaningful interactions, is patient, and understands the needs of older adults.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer emails
  • Assist customers with placing, modifying, or cancelling orders
  • Provide support for delivery-related queries or issues
  • Build relationships with regular customers through friendly, consistent service
  • Liaise with our kitchen and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment
  • Maintain accurate records in our customer management system

About You

  • Previous experience in customer service, ideally in a healthcare, aged care or hospitality setting
  • Excellent communication skills – warm, clear, and patient
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident using basic computer systems and customer service software
  • A team player with a genuine interest in helping others
