Larvotto Resources (LVR) is developing the Hillgrove Antimony and Gold Project and is now seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Resource Geologistto support our team and community in Armidale, NSW.  Hillgrove is located 23km east of Armidale in northern NSW and is highly considered a well-serviced regional city surrounded by natural beauty. It is centrally located between Brisbane and Sydney and only a short drive to the popular Coffs Coast.

Larvotto Resources is forging ahead with current ramp up activities on our Hillgrove Antimony and Gold project and we now are seeking the experience of a Senior Resource Geologist to join the onsite mining team on a residential 5 days on, 3 days off, 4 days on 2 days off roster - working 10-hour shifts per day.

Please note:  Regional and Interstate relocation packages will be considered to Armidale NSW for this position.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Resource Geologist with experience in exploration and resource development to lead geological interpretations and resource evaluations.   Within this role you will develop geological models, prepare technical reports, and apply industry-leading software and techniques to deliver high-quality outputs that support project development and decision-making.   Working alongside experienced professionals, you will contribute to robust, compliant mineral resource estimates and play a key role in informing development decisions through sound geological insight.

Key Responsibilities: -

  • Lead geological modelling and mineral resource estimation for assigned deposits.
  • Compile and analyse exploration and production data to inform geological interpretations.
  • Contribute to QA/QC processes and support technical reviews and audits
  • Build, update geological models, and resource estimates using industry-standard software.
  • Assist with the preparation of high-quality technical reports in compliance with JORC, NI-43-101, S-K 1300, or other relevant reporting codes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mining engineers, exploration geologists, and external consultants.
  • Support mentoring and knowledge-sharing initiatives within the geology and broader operational teams.
  • Identify and recommend workflow improvement and assist in implementing best practices
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of statutory reports and notifications.
  • Effective communication to ensure continuous stakeholder engagement
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, contractors, and internal departments to ensure shared understanding and compliance withsafety standards and expectations.
  • Facilitate safety committee meetings and promote open dialogue to proactively address safety concerns and promote a strong safety culture.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geoscience or a related field
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in exploration, production and resource geology.
  • Proficiency in geological modelling software (e.g., Leapfrog, Vulcan, Micromine, Datamine).
  • Able to work flexibly in a dynamic team environment, with site travel as required.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Understanding of mineral resource estimation processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and data management skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous learning.
  • A valid manual C Class Driver's license.
  • 4WD experience, an accredited qualification in off-road driving, highly desired.
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate/CPR Qualification, (Desirable not Essential)

Also Required:

  • Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
  • Must be able to provide a valid National Police Clearance, obtained within the last six months upon request.
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening, and comply with ongoing testing during employment.
