Are you an experienced admin and finance professional looking for a flexible part-time role? Join our dynamic team at a reputable mechanics business in Murray Bridge, SA, and help us streamline our financial and administrative operations. We are looking for a detail-oriented, organised, and self-motivated individual to manage day-to-day admin and finance tasks. Experience with Xero is a bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Oversee reconciliations, payment of accounts and general financial reporting using Xero. Help with invoicing as required.
  • Admin Support: Provide administrative support, including data entry and managing communications.
  • Record Keeping: Ensure accurate and up-to-date filing of financial and administrative documents.
  • Payroll: Assist with basic payroll processing.
  • General Office Administration: Maintain efficient office systems, handling any other ad hoc admin duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in administration and finance, ideally within a small business environment.
  • Proficiency in Xero (or similar accounting software).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
  • Previous experience in the mechanics or automotive industry is a bonus, but not essential.

Work Schedule:

  • 8-10 hours per week.
  • Must be available to work 2-5 hours in-office every Wednesday.
  • Flexibility to work from home for the remaining hours (negotiable).
